About The Position

The 2025 Manufacturing Engineering and Operations Internship at BASF ECMS in Huntsville, AL, offers undergraduate students a unique opportunity to enhance their professional skills through hands-on experience in a global leader in catalysis and precious metals. This internship program is designed to provide participants with real-world assignments that contribute to business value while exploring career options and developing technical and professional decision-making skills. Interns will work closely with Production Engineers and engage in various engineering and operations tasks over a 10 to 12-week period, gaining valuable exposure to the company's culture and leadership.

Requirements

• Current undergraduate student majoring in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or future sponsorship.
• Demonstrated leadership potential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Active participation in extracurricular activities and on-campus organizations.
• Outstanding work ethic.
• Previous internship or co-op experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Production Engineers to collect and analyze data for process optimization.
• Support process standardization by reviewing work instructions and procedures.
• Learn about Asset Effectiveness (AE).
