About The Position

Internships at ConnectOne Bank provide a paid working experience to college students in a variety of departments within the organization. Each summer the internship experience is unique. Interns work within individual departments but are also asked to work on projects as a group. This internship provides an overview of careers in the banking field. We are looking for a dynamic, energetic intern who is eager to learn about our company by assisting various departments. You will be working closely with our team to conduct research, capture data, and attend meetings where you will learn about various aspects of the banking industry. Highlights from previous summers: Interns will be participating in various networking events throughout the summer. Interns participated in "Departmental Overview and Interview” sessions including a variety of business and development topics. Interns participated in community service by working with CNOB partnered Not-for-Profit organizations. Interns on our IT team will gain the following experience: Taking Help Desk calls, opening, working, closing tickets. Preparing new desktops, laptops. Installing peripherals (monitors, keyboards, mice). Inventory of equipment to be recycled and destroyed. Learning about different aspects of IT (Systems, applications, servers, cloud, networking) Travel to branches and back-offices to perform IT related tasks. The Summer 2026 Internship Program will run from May 28th, 2026, through August 7th, 2026. In order to get the most out of the internship experience, attendance is important. This position is full time and 40 hours or more weekly. Travel to the branches, corporate offices and community events will be required. Our IT internship will be held in our Englewood Cliffs, NJ location.
