About The Position

J. Benton Construction, LLC is offering a temporary internship opportunity for Information Technology Interns. This position allows interns to become part of a team with a stellar reputation as the community engaged Caribbean Construction Expert. Please note that relocation, transportation, and housing are not available for this internship.

Requirements

• Rising Junior or Senior currently pursuing a degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Computing Systems, or Computer Systems Analysis or a related field required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong initiative and problem-solving abilities.
• Outstanding attention to detail.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Previous work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Act as full-time Helpdesk Technicians, taking responsibility for 5-10% of IT tickets weekly after the first two weeks of onboarding.
• Visit job sites to gain firsthand experience of how IT equipment impacts daily business operations.
• Provide top-tier customer service to all users across the organization.
• Assist with inventory management of IT equipment at locations in the USVI.
• Perform essential support tasks independently by the end of the internship, including Autopilot provisioning, basic troubleshooting, and proper escalation of incidents.
