Internship Immersion Program for Content Creation, Editorial Entertainment
About The Position
We are offering a four-month in-depth opportunity to become a member of Getty Imagesâ editorial entertainment team and train on all facets of the editorial imagery business, including: · Creating editorial content (photography and videography) from wide-ranging assignments such as red carpets, produced events and live shows, including on-site assignments and activations for our partner, Crown + Conquer · Assigning events and client relations · Video and Field editing · Major event production and more You will join a team of highly collaborative and talented photographers, videographers and content creators who are comfortable working with a diverse set of tools, and willing to take initiative on their ideas. Some of the learning objectives of the Internship are as follows: · Access, exposure to and work experience with some of the nationâs leading entertainment editorial photography professionals. · Contact time to understand the depth of editorial photography (stills and video) between teams. · Training to adapt to developments in the technology and software in editing photography, including workflow standards and communication between teams. · Observe and practice live content capture, editing, production, distribution and asset management of stills and footage. · Broaden understanding of the relationship between capture and production of content coverage of an entertainment event and the differences in distribution and licensing editorial content and paid content. Requirements
- Extremely comfortable working with a team of photographers and editors and take direction well.
- Understand, or have interest learning Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom and other content management tools.
