About The Position

GENERAL SUMMARY Assists with the coordination of risk reduction efforts supporting multiple HSES programs and projects. Ensuring the reporting data is up to date with safety metric, EHS Quest and training opportunities are developed and stored for future use. Work on short term and long-term planning. The Intern will perform audits for safety and health.

Requirements

• Preferred area of study: Health and Safety
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures and work instructions.
• Ability to analyze basic data, organize information, and document findings accurately.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, production-driven environment.
• Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and strong work ethic.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and comply with company policies and procedures.
• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, junior or senior standing preferred .

Responsibilities

• EHS Quest update and data entry and reports
• Daily updates in the programs and projects (countermeasure sheet)
• Daily audits on remediation of incidents
• Daily pick up and entry on the line audits
• Run the components of an incident investigation
• How to audit a workspace for IOSHA compliance
