About The Position

Eaton's EPG CPD Circuit Protection Division is seeking an Embedded Electronics Engineering Intern for a 12-week paid internship. This role offers students the opportunity to engage in significant projects related to hardware and software product development, particularly in solid state and hybrid circuit protection technology. Interns will receive mentorship from Eaton's leaders and gain exposure to cutting-edge technologies in the field.

Requirements

• Actively enrolled in or received a bachelor's or master's degree in electrical or electronics engineering, computer engineering, software engineering, or computer science from an accredited institution.
• Minimum overall cumulative GPA of 2.8.
• Must reside or attend school within 50 miles of Moon Township, PA.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in embedded systems and exposure to software languages including C++, Java, and/or Python.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2.
• Hands-on experience in circuit board design, debugging, and testing.
• Prior internship or co-op experience.
• Demonstrated leadership experience within campus and/or community.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of embedded hardware for power distribution products.
• Assist in firmware and software development for micro-controllers.
• Engage in projects that contribute to the Advanced Technology team's goals.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams on technology development.
