About The Position

The primary responsibility of the Internship Coordinator is to oversee the internship system at Salem Prep High School and provide students with valuable, hands-on, real-world learning experiences that align with their career interests. The internship coordinator will support the following: Mentorship: Conducting meetings as needed with students regarding their interests, internship opportunities, etc. Coaching: Leading intern coaching cycles as needed. Celebration: Celebrating the end-of-year successes. Additional Duties: Other duties as assigned to support the internship and student success. Collaboration: Work in collaboration with the principal of SPHS to meet program goals. Coordinate volunteer opportunities for all students at SPHS.

Requirements

• A Salem Public Schools staff member with experience working with high school students or interns.
• Experienced in working with young people.
