About The Position

Introduction ASML US, including its affiliates and subsidiaries, bring together the most creative minds in science and technology to develop lithography machines that are key to producing faster, cheaper, more energy-efficient microchips. As a Community and Employee Engagement Events Intern, you will play a key role in building a culture of volunteerism among ASML employees and strengthening the ASML community. Your efforts will focus on our key areas of Diversity and Inclusion , local and regional communities and STEM education. Additionally, you will help organize and execute employee events aimed at engaging employees, fostering employee pride and promoting the Chandler, Arizona site as a great place to work.

Requirements

  • Must be pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, Business or a related field
  • Strong oral and written communication skills (e.g. clear, concise, professional, etc.)
  • Results driven - demonstrates ownership and accountability and delivers on commitments with a sense of urgency and attention to detail
  • Proficient use of all Microsoft Office suite programs
  • Can observe and respond to people and situations and interact with others encountered in the course of work
  • Can learn and apply new information or skills
  • Must be able to read and interpret data, information and documents
  • Strong customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction through prioritization, quality, efficiency and professionalism
  • Ability to complete assignments with attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
  • Proven ability to perform effectively in a demanding environment with changing workloads
  • Result driven-demonstrate ownership and accountability
  • Work independently or as part of a team and follow through on assignments with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Management Assistant team in executing ASML CS US regional employee engagement and employee events program and ensure alignment with corporate goals and policy
  • Connect with nonprofits local to each of the designated ASML sites and create volunteer teambuilder opportunity database for each site
  • In collaboration with admin team, align with managers to plan and execute volunteer teambuilder events
  • Collaborate with US regional and local leadership to promote local employee engagement and philanthropic activities, employee volunteer events and initiatives
  • Help build and document volunteerism within the US region for ASML employes
  • Help build engagement within the US region for ASML's employees
