In your new role you will support the testing and validation of control and protection IC products used in motor drive applications. You will create detailed test plans to evaluate device performance under various conditions and ensure compliance with design specifications. Your responsibilities will include configuring lab equipment, setting up experiments, running tests to collect meaningful data for analysis, processing and analyzing test data to assess product performance, identifying and troubleshooting issues encountered during testing, collaborating with cross-functional teams, maintaining comprehensive documentation of experimental setups, and preparing technical reports and presentations to communicate results and recommendations to internal teams and stakeholders.

  • Support the testing and validation of control and protection IC products used in motor drive applications.
  • Create detailed test plans to evaluate device performance under various conditions and ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Configure lab equipment, set up experiments, and run tests to collect meaningful data for analysis.
  • Process and analyze test data to assess product performance and identify potential areas of improvement.
  • Identify, debug, and resolve issues encountered during testing and validation processes.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, product, and application engineers, to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of experimental setups, procedures, and outcomes to support internal knowledge sharing and reporting.
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate results and recommendations to internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of motor control systems, including control algorithms, protection features, and motor drive architectures.
  • Prior experience working with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and power analyzers.
  • Analytical mindset to interpret data, troubleshoot issues, and propose solutions.
  • Familiarity with programming and scripting languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB) for data processing and automation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication for documenting and presenting technical findings.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
  • Minimum wage of $20.50 per hour
  • Maximum wage of $30.50 per hour
  • Hourly rate will depend on the highest level of education completed
