About The Position

The Business Operations Intern will support finance and operations teams by analyzing workflows, creating reports and dashboards, and helping improve financial processes. The intern will assist with documentation, pricing support, and organizing financial and proposal records, while building strong Excel and data analysis skills in a collaborative business environment.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, junior or senior standing preferred.
  • Pursuing a degree in Business, Finance and accounting, or Data Science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency inMicrosoft Office Suite , including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI and Outlook.
  • Basic understanding of statistics and data analysis concepts.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures and work instructions.
  • Ability to analyze data, organize information, and document findings accurately.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, results-driven environment.
  • Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and strong work ethic.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with databases, customer management software (CRM), or data science tools preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze current business and financial workflows using Power BI and Excel to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to support financial and operational decision-making
  • Support process streamlining initiatives, including documentation of improved workflows and reporting processes
  • Reconcile financial logs and audit proposal documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal controls
  • Strengthen technical proficiency in excel and financial tools (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, data visualization techniques) through applied project work
  • Collaborate with finance, program, and operations teams to gather requirements and communicate findings clearly
  • Prepare documentation, summaries, and presentations for supervisors and stakeholders on project outcomes and recommendations
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to financial reporting, controls, and operational efficiency
