About The Position

Eaton’s CTO Corporate Technology Office division is currently seeking a Internship: Additive Technician - Southfield, MI. The hourly rate for this position is $19.38 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What you’ll do: In this function you will: - Operate and maintain additive manufacturing machines to maximize machine up-time and production throughout. - Perform post-processing steps of completed AM jobs (will include a wide array of tasks such as cleaning, surface treatments, part separation, machining and various manual processes. - Track related consumable supplies and alert Responsible personnel if additional supplies required. - Collaborate with team on AM process improvements. - Follow standardized file systems, traceability documentation for all machine related repair/anomaly reported incidents. - Maintain all AM ancillary equipment and document accordingly. - Meet both quality and schedule expectations. - Maintain a clean and safe working environment adhering to 5S Principle.

Requirements

• High School diploma, actively enrolled or received a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Southfield, MI will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Nice To Haves

• Experience setting up and operating additive manufacturing equipment
• Experience with inspection equipment and gaging methods such as calipers, micrometers, CMMs etc.
• Prior manufacturing experience with a focus on a close attention to detail
