About The Position
The role of Undergraduate Finance Intern at 3M is designed to commence in Summer 2025, providing a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in the finance sector. This internship is a temporary position that typically spans a full-time schedule over a 10-12 week period, allowing interns to work up to 899 hours per service credit year. As an intern, you will collaborate with a diverse group of innovative individuals across the globe, contributing to real projects that address significant business challenges faced by 3M. This role not only offers practical experience but also the chance to engage with a highly developed Finance Employee network, which includes numerous events and opportunities to connect with colleagues and senior leadership through informational interviews and social events. Interns will have the chance to work in various functional areas within the Finance organization, including Business Finance Counsel, Auditing, Business Accounting, Treasury, Plant Analyst Center, and Insights & Analytics. Each assignment is tailored to provide interns with meaningful responsibilities that mirror the work of full-time team members. For instance, in Business Finance Counsel, you may be tasked with providing financial recommendations for a specific business segment, while in Auditing, you could be involved in process improvement projects. The internship is structured to foster professional growth and development, ensuring that interns leave with valuable skills and experiences that will benefit their future careers.
