About The Position

The Internal Medicine position in Osage Beach, Missouri, offers an exciting opportunity for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Internist to join a well-established and respected health system in the Lake of the Ozarks region. This full-time, permanent role is outpatient only, catering to a service area of approximately 100,000 people. The health system is experiencing growth and is committed to expanding its services in this thriving rural community. The facility is a Level II Stroke Center, a Level III Trauma Center, and a Level II Nursery, equipped with 100 acute care beds and 16 skilled nursing beds. It provides comprehensive diagnostic services, radiation therapy, a full-service sleep lab, medical/surgical care, and a 24-hour cardiovascular surgery department. As part of a multi-specialty group, the internist will benefit from a competitive base salary that exceeds the national average, along with production incentives and an excellent benefits package. The health system operates primary care clinics in seven surrounding communities, two Urgent Care clinics, 18 specialty clinics, and three pharmacies in the lake area. Additionally, it runs four satellite rehab therapy clinics and Lake Regional Home Health, which offers nursing and therapy care for patients in Camden, Miller, and parts of Morgan counties. The facility features private patient rooms, a large outpatient department, and a 35-bed Emergency Department, which is a state-designated Level III Trauma Center treating over 36,500 patients annually. The hospital also includes an 18-bed Intensive Care/Cardiac Care Unit and a 22-bed Stepdown Unit for patients recovering from ICU/CCU care. The Lake of the Ozarks community is known for its small-town hospitality in a resort setting, providing a safe environment for families, excellent educational opportunities, and a lower cost of living compared to other U.S. cities.
