About The Position

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Internet Sales Coordinator to join our growing dealership team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with customers, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is comfortable using technology to connect with potential buyers. As the first point of contact for many of our customers, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional experience while helping guide customers through the vehicle purchasing process.

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple programs or systems simultaneously
  • Comfortable working with computers, internet tools, and customer management systems
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong typing and computer skills

Nice To Haves

  • Previous sales experience preferred, but not required (automotive or internet sales experience is a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to all incoming new and pre-owned vehicle inquiries via email, phone, and chat, providing accurate information and assisting prospective buyers.
  • Build immediate rapport with customers while gathering key information about their needs and interests.
  • Schedule appointments with sales team members and confirm upcoming visits with customers.
  • Perform consistent follow-up with customers through email and phone to maintain engagement and move them through the sales process.
  • Provide exceptional ongoing customer service and support throughout the inquiry and appointment process.
  • Develop and maintain strong product knowledge of vehicles, dealership services, and current promotions.
  • Promote the dealership’s value, reputation, and customer experience.
  • Attend scheduled sales meetings and training sessions to stay current on products, technology, and best practices.
  • Participate in training for multiple vehicle brands.
  • Assist with additional tasks and projects as needed to support the sales and customer experience teams.
