The Installation Technician is responsible for the installation and troubleshooting of residential and commercial internet services using fixed wireless technology. This role involves working with various tools and equipment to ensure proper setup and maintenance of internet connections, while adhering to safety standards and company policies.

  • Install and troubleshoot residential and commercial internet services through fixed wireless applications.
  • Use and care for hand tools and mechanical equipment.
  • Climb ladders, including extension, a-frame, step, and fixed vertical ladders to access roofs.
  • Analyze situations accurately and adopt appropriate courses of action.
  • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
  • Follow instructions accurately and complete assigned tasks.
  • Recognize safety hazards and perform duties in a safe manner.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment adhering to company policies and industry regulations (OSHA).
  • Install fixed wireless antennas and cables.
  • Install wireless routers, switches, and access points.
  • Perform basic networking and on-premise troubleshooting of customer and company equipment.
  • Valid state driver's license with a good driving record.
  • Ability to operate power tools and hand tools.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to work on ladders and access roofs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High energy and a good attitude towards hard work.
  • Availability to work after hours and weekends if needed.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations.
  • Punctual and consistent job attendance.
  • 1 year of experience in technical installations (preferred)
