International Transportation Coordinator

About The Position

This role will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and interpreting data to guide the strategy for the department. Coordinate the air/ocean transportation of PVH’s globally produced merchandise from Asia, Africa, Middle East, and Latin America into North America

Requirements

  • Experience: 1-3 years of International Logistics experience is required
  • Education: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
  • Skills: Ability to analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong follow up skills
  • Demonstrate ability to learn and think critically
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to focus and multi task successfully
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office
  • Proficient with MS Excel
  • Ability to learn and understand global geography, economics and politics

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Power BI preferred

Responsibilities

  • Experience collecting, organizing, and disseminating abundant information accurately
  • Ability to prepare and review reports, summarize operational results, identify trends, and communicate insights for use by various key stakeholders
  • Evaluate key performance indicators, provide ongoing reports, and recommend changes to routing or operation
  • Issue vessel/flight instructions to consolidators/forwarders using their internet based platforms
  • Communicate vessel and flight options to PVH Operations and Sourcing departments
  • Audit ocean bills of lading and air invoices
  • Review and reconcile service providers statement of account
  • Provide ocean and air freight cost estimates
  • Occasionally assist manager with projects
  • Coordinate drop shipments to PVH customers
