AJC is looking for an energetic recent college graduate to join our Sales Team in Atlanta, Georgia. The International Trader will be responsible for generating profitable purchases of full container loads of frozen poultry products from North American suppliers for sale to customers around the globe. This role will require occasional domestic and international travel to maintain key supplier and customer relationships. The ideal candidate must be a commercially driven person who is positive, energetic, a quick learner, motivated by challenge, and excited by the opportunity to work in an international environment. AJC is looking for a motivated and results driven International Sales Professional interested in advancing their sales career with an international company and top exporter of frozen protein products in the U.S. In this sales role you will be responsible for generating profitable sales of frozen food commodities like poultry, pork, and beef to a diverse region while meeting sales plan metrics. This is accomplished by maintaining and increasing current customer accounts and developing new customers through building relationships.

  • Generate profitable sales of frozen food commodities like poultry, beef, and pork by calling on customers on a regular basis.
  • Maintain current and develop new customer accounts mainly via phone and email.
  • Travel to destination countries 15% of the time or less to visit customers or attend tradeshows.
  • Build relationships internally with purchasing, credit, operations and other departments as well as externally with outside vendors and partners.
  • Meet or exceed clearly laid out sales metrics and goals by effectively selling core products and developing new business.
  • Maintain gross profit and tonnage for an assigned account base while managing inventory.
  • Assist operations team with information for transportation movement in order to meet desired shipment schedules and avoid unnecessary costs.
  • Assist the team to grow market share and diversify products and origins sold into the market.
  • Have a bachelor's degree. Recent graduates encouraged to apply.
  • Speak, read, and write English fluently. Fluency in a second language, especially French, Spanish, or Dutch is a plus.
  • Have competent knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • 1-3 years of international sales experience a plus.
