About The Position

As the International Tax Manager, you’ll be responsible for providing strategic guidance to Partners and clients, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and assisting in the growth and development of our clients’ businesses. You’ll utilize available resources to drive timely execution, foster strong client relationships, and collaborate with the team to uphold excellence in service delivery. The International Tax Manager is responsible for oversight and management of the tax reporting, tax planning and compliance function.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field. Master’s degree in accounting preferred. CPA or EA Licensed preferred.
  • Minimum 4 to 6 years prior experience in public accounting.
  • Prior supervisory experience with proven track record of leadership and client relationship management.
  • Experience with tax planning and compliance for individuals immigrating to the US as well as US expatriates working abroad.
  • Solid understanding of international tax laws and regulations. Experience with CFC’s, Forms 5471, 5472, 8865 and 8858, GILTI, FTC, FDAP W/H.
  • Experience with international corporate taxation, consolidations and partnerships.
  • Strong financial analysis, research, critical thinking and strategic planning skills.
  • Ability to effectively delegate work and to work under pressure with strict deadlines.
  • Capacity to work well in a team environment.
  • Experience with tax research databases such as BNA and RIA
  • Proficient in all tax compliance process software, CaseWare, Depreciation Software or comparable programs and standard tax workpapers
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency with tax preparation software and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, ProSystem, CCH Axcess) a plus.

  • Uphold and reinforce professional and technical standards, the Firm's code of conduct, and independence requirements.
  • Supervise, develop, and coach teams.
  • Independently solve and analyze complex problems.
