About The Position

The success of our International Tax Practice has been so outstanding that we are seeking an International Tax Staff Associate. Our international tax team provides international tax services to help businesses compete globally and comply with U.S. international tax regulatory and reporting requirements. The International Tax Staff Associate will provide specialized services addressing a wide array of international tax concerns, including and international tax compliance and reporting projects; determining taxpayer eligibility for international tax elections and exceptions such as GILTI high tax exception; international tax quantitative modeling, and foreign tax credit analysis. What your day looks like: Work in a team environment on clients day-to-day tax matters supporting managers and partners with service execution. Review the tax preparation work of our offshore team. Provide innovative tax compliance expertise, including preparation of U.S. international tax forms, such as 5471, 8992, 8865, 8858, 1042, 8802, K-2 and K-3, and 8833. Calculate E&P, Section 987 foreign exchange gains (losses), GILTI, expense apportionment and allocation, ECI, Subpart F and Subpart F recapture, and Section 962. Effectively manage budgets. Proactively build relationships and communicate effectively both with the client and internally to provide superior client service. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or other relevant field of study
  • CPA required
  • At least 1 year of progressive International Tax compliance experience with a public accounting firm, law firm, or large corporate tax department of a multinational company is preferred
  • Strong tax technical skills and accounting skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency with ProSystem fx, CCH, RIA, and/or Engagement is a plus.
