Highlights of your responsibilities as an International Tax Assistant include: Identify, review, and resolve anomalies in work authorization documentation related to employees’ I-9 form reverification and immigration statuses, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing. Conduct in-person and virtual meetings with employees to complete the I-9 reverification process and/or the tax treaty benefits claim process. Collect, analyze, and securely maintain employee information within online international tax software as required. Update tax and deduction records for employees based on prompts from the international tax software analysis. Ensure compliance with all documentation requirements.   • Proficient in using automated systems, personal computers and software such as Excel in an accounting-oriented environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to provide customer service in a courteous manner and work effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Knowledge of basic payroll and onboarding practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting or related field or equivalent level of training and/or experience.
