About The Position

As a Supply Chain Packing and Shipping Associate in IDEXX’s Memphis Distribution Center, you will work in our warehouse environment to pick, pack, load, and ship smaller daily shipments to national customers and distribution centers. This role is hands-on and physically active, with a strong focus on accuracy, quality, and safety. You will support daily FedEx small‑package operations, operate warehouse equipment, and ensure orders are fulfilled correctly while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Shift: 7:00am – 3:30pm, Monday – Friday What You Can Expect in This Role: Work in a fast‑paced distribution environment handling daily smaller shipments with tight turnaround times Perform picker/packer duties, picking small package orders accurately and efficiently Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, and wrap machines (training provided where needed) Work at heights up to 40 feet using order‑picking equipment Support cross‑training initiatives and assist in other warehouse areas, including loading trucks as needed Use RF scanners (RF guns) to pick, verify, and fulfill orders accurately Ensure proper counting, item matching, and quantity verification—accuracy is critical Maintain accurate shipping documentation and inventory records in SAP Troubleshoot order discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment while following all safety guidelines Contribute as part of a collaborative team focused on delivering excellent customer service What You Need to Succeed: High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required; Bachelor’s degree in logistics or supply chain preferred Exceptional attention to detail—accurate counting, reading product descriptions, verifying item numbers, and confirming quantities are essential Ability to stand for extended periods and regularly lift 40–50 lbs Comfort working in a cold room and freezer environment for portions of the day Strong ability to read, interpret, and follow product descriptions and order details Forklift experience preferred but not required (training available) Previous distribution, picker/packer, or warehouse experience strongly preferred Experience using RF scanners highly preferred Familiarity with SAP, Microsoft Word, and Excel preferred Strong written communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment What You Can Expect From Us: An hourly rate target of $20/hour based on experience, plus an additional $1/hr after successful completion of our forklift training Opportunity for annual cash bonus Opportunity for performance based annual merit increase Health / Dental / Vision Benefits Day - One 5% matching 401k Generous PTO benefits Additional benefits including but not limited to pet insurance, mental health resources, volunteer paid days off, employee stock program, foundation donation matching, and much more!
