The ISSS Department is seeking (1) International Student Advisor to join the already awesome team taking them to the next level of excellence! The International Student Advisor (ISA) provides in person and virtual student advising related to F-1 and J-1 immigration regulations and University policies and deadlines using compliance software to maintain appropriate documentation, communication, and student support. The advisor works collaboratively with various admissions offices to issue initial attendance and transfer I-20s to newly admitted international students, and helps manage onboarding communication, processes and support for incoming students. The ISA will utilize the Sunapsis immigration compliance software and Banner system to review student requests, run relevant reports, issue documents, and manage their daily work. The ISA works as part of the student advising team in ISSS to educate international students on their immigration status and regulations and to assist them in meeting their academic and personal goals.
