About The Position
The International Student and Study Abroad Services office at North Dakota State University is seeking an International Student Advisor to join our team. This position provides direct support to international students (F and J visa holders) and the broader international community at NDSU. The advisor builds and maintains relationships with an assigned group of international students, with the goal of helping them maintain their visa status, successfully adapt to life in the U.S. and at NDSU, and navigate personal matters that may impact their continued enrollment, along with other concerns that may arise during their time at the university. A successful International Student Advisor supports international student enrollment goals by assisting incoming students during the pre-semester intake process, designing and delivering retention programs throughout the academic year, and staying up to date on the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) related to F and J visa programs in the U.S.
