The Work Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: Financial Planning, Earned Value Management (EVM), and Cost Account Management (CAM) in support of the Lead Project Engineer (LPE)/ Supporting engineering teams across multiple contracts, including Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and commercial programs. Preparing and coordinating plans and schedules for new and existing programs. Determining, monitoring, and reviewing costs, operational budgets, schedules, and manpower requirements. Supporting CAM responsibilities for program costs, staffing plans, and personnel management in collaboration with project engineers and the International Projects organization. Supporting emerging proposals and program capture opportunities. Working closely with Ship Integration and Test Engineering teams to track progress related to design, installation, and testing of combat system ship programs. Formulating and recommending corrective actions such as schedule adjustments, manpower changes, funding allocations, and revised work requirements. Occasional domestic or international travel may be required. Please note: This position is based out of Moorestown, NJ. Requirements

  • 2+ years related professional experience.
  • Prior financial management experience.
  • Experience with the development, maintenance and communication of performance based Earned Value Metrics on a routine basis to stakeholders.
  • Highly Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to travel up to to 10%.
  • This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance at the Secret level.
  • US Citizen for consideration.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors degree in a STEM related field.
  • 2+ years’ experience assisting with project cost and planning efforts.
  • Familiarity with Cost Account Management (CAM) and Earned Value Management (EVM) processes and techniques.
  • Advance proficiency in using MS-Excel and MS-Project to organize and manipulate data.
  • Experience working with shipyard plans, US Navy, or other military background.
  • Prior experience working in a matrixed team and international programs.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work remotely with general guidance.
