About The Position

WITRON is looking to hire a dynamic International Logistics Coordinator! As a International Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring the flow of goods from international suppliers to U.S. facilities. This role ensures timely delivery, cost efficiency, and compliance with trade regulations by coordinating with freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouses, and domestic carriers. In this position you will also provide visibility into shipment status, tracks tariffs and duties, and analyzes transportation and storage costs to support financial and supply chain decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, or related field (preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience in international logistics, freight forwarding, or import/export operations.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. customs regulations, international shipping documentation, and tariff schedules.
  • Experience coordinating with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and warehouse providers.
  • Proficiency in logistics management systems (TMS, ERP, or similar).
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to track and report cost metrics.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate international shipments from Europe (primarily Germany) to the U.S., ensuring on-time arrival and proper handling.
  • Work closely with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers to track shipments and resolve delays.
  • Maintain visibility of cargo departures, arrivals, and storage availability through shipment tracking systems.
  • Interface between the customs department in Germany and CBP and customs brokers.
  • Coordinate U.S. domestic logistics, including storage, inventory release, and outbound shipments to customers or distribution centers.
  • Track and analyze transportation, customs, and warehousing costs to support budgeting and cost-control initiatives.
  • Communicate shipment status and cost impacts to supply chain, finance, and operations teams.
  • Support continuous improvement of logistics and customs processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen compliance.
