About the Center for Climate and Energy Solutions (C2ES): Our mission is to secure a safe and stable climate by accelerating the transition to a thriving, just, and resilient low-carbon economy. We work closely with international climate negotiators; federal, state, and local policymakers; executives of Fortune 500 businesses; and a wide range of other stakeholders to advance strong policy and action to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, promote clean energy, and strengthen resilience to climate impacts. Requirements
- Undergraduate or graduate degree, or student close to obtaining a degree, in environmental studies, or a related field, or business.
- Familiarity with climate change issues, carbon markets preferred
- Great writing, editing, and research skills
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to work both independently and on a team
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of social media, graphic design, or website design is a plus.
- Adobe, Canva, HTML
Responsibilities
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the Kinetic Coalition with logistics and organization of meetings and roundtables
- Assist with drafting and refining Kinetic Coalition outreach documents
- Be an active participant in Secretariat meetings, contributing thoughts and ideas as Kinetic Coalition implements and expands its work
- Assist with C2ES virtual, hybrid, and in-person events
- Other duties as assigned
