About The Position

As the International Controller, you will be responsible for the company's day-to-day statutory accounting for our international operations including Canada, Mexico, United Kingdom and Vietnam. You will be responsible for ensuring all activity is accurately recorded in the financial statements, oversee international accounting operations, ensure compliance and regulatory requirements, and will play a key audit coordination role. This position will report to the Assistant Controller.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 8 years of accounting experience, including preparation of statutory financial statements
• Prior direct or functional management experience preferred
• Effective leader with excellent oral and written communication
• Ability to be self-motivated, proactive, and a team player
• SAP experience
• High attention to detail required in managing analytical tasks
• Ability to analyze, solve problems, and adapt to changing organizational and operational needs

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise and oversee statutory accounting for our international operations including Canada, Mexico, United Kingdom and Vietnam
• Support the month-end financial close process, ensuring accuracy and completeness of the financial statements through the preparation of intercompany, GAAP to Stat, and FX related journal entries
• Review journal entries prepared by accounting team members
• Support for tax, audit, and examination processes, including audited financial statements
• Ensure compliance with statutory accounting, filings and regulatory requirements
• Define, document, implement processes and procedures
• Support global expansion initiatives including the introduction of new legal entities
