About The Position

We are seeking a talented individual to join our MMB Multinational Advisory team at Mercer. This role will be based in California (Irvine or San Francisco). This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. The International Consulting Analyst will support senior consultants in delivering global benefits advisory services to multinational clients. The team combines deep international benefits expertise with data-driven insights to help U.S. multinational organizations develop and implement effective global benefits strategies that enhance employee health and wellbeing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and benchmark information.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to build strong working relationships.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and working knowledge of the MS Office suite.

  • Experience or exposure to global health and welfare benefit products and services.
  • Fluency in other languages and international experience are highly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Support senior consultants with global benefits design, funding strategy, competitive benchmarking, and benefits implementation for start-ups and established operations.
  • Contribute to client benefits strategy development by interpreting and presenting benchmark data and ensuring proper implementation of plan and program changes.
  • Collaborate with global consultants to draft client-ready communications and respond to benefit-related inquiries.
  • Analyze data and research to support strategic recommendations and attend client meetings as part of the service team.
  • Resolve client issues appropriately and escalate when necessary, maintaining professional standards and documentation practices.
