Job Description Inspire, excel and grow with us The International Banking Operations Associate is responsible for supporting the processing of Global Trade & Standby Services (GTSS) and Foreign Exchange (FX) banking products across multiple stages of the transaction life cycle. This role plays a critical part in facilitating global trade transactions by acting as a key intermediary between customers, internal partners, and international banking institutions. The ideal candidate is highly detail‑oriented, customer‑focused, and motivated, with the ability to manage complex documentation and ensure strict compliance with regulatory, policy, and service‑level requirements. Accuracy, responsiveness, and strong written and verbal communication skills are essential to success in this role. Key Responsibilities Process and support Global Trade & Standby Services (GTSS) and Foreign Exchange (FX) transactions across the full transaction lifecycle, including trade documents, payments, settlements, and investigations. Review, examine, and reconcile trade and FX documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with contractual terms, internal policies, regulatory requirements, and service‑level agreements. Act as a primary liaison between internal partners, external clients, and correspondent banks to facilitate timely and accurate processing of global trade transactions. Communicate clearly and professionally via email (primary) and phone to resolve inquiries, clarify documentation requirements, and address transaction issues. Identify discrepancies or risks, escalate issues appropriately, and support timely resolution to minimize customer and operational impact. Maintain strong productivity, quality, and accuracy standards in a high‑volume, detail‑driven operations environment. Contribute to continuous process improvement while upholding the highest standards of customer service and operational integrity. What Success Looks Like in This Role Transactions are processed accurately, timely, and in compliance with all requirements. Documentation errors and processing issues are minimized. Clients and internal partners experience clear, professional, and responsive communication. Productivity and quality metrics consistently meet or exceed expectations. The associate demonstrates focus, accountability, and reliability in day‑to‑day operations. Schedule & Location Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST Location: Saint Paul (West Side Flats) or Charlotte (DCS Office) In office 3+ days per week Basic Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent At least one year of relevant work experience Preferred Skills/Experience Prior experience with import/export trade products or international payments. Strong customer service mindset with the ability to manage sensitive or time‑critical transactions. Highly motivated, proactive, and self‑driven; able to manage workload independently. Comfortable collaborating with internal teams and external banking partners across different time zones. Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple transactions simultaneously.
