As the Internal Wholesaler for Alternative Investments, you will build and maintain business relationships with financial professionals to educate and market our products and services to meet or exceed established individual and team sales goals and help the financial professionals provide the right solutions for their clients. You will also be assigned territories and partner closely with the External Wholesaler(s) to continue enhancing the client experience to help drive alternative investment business within the channel.

  • Enhancing and maintaining an understanding of the Alternative Investment products, services, and operational structure to enhance ability to identify and target sales growth opportunities.
  • Developing business on behalf of Lincoln Financial Group in a manner that supports a positive company image, in compliance with all required rules and regulations and ethical in all considerations.
  • Providing product and illustration sales support on Lincoln's products & services (including sales support tools, marketing ideas, etc.) to assigned Financial Professionals/BOAs.
  • Building and maintaining business relationships through effective communication via email, phone and in person with internal/external stakeholders in a customer centric and professional demeanor.
  • Identifying, recommending, and championing process improvements and organizational initiatives to positively influence the team and quality.
  • 4 Year Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Strong sales, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Strong knowledge of capital markets as well as mutual funds, separate accounts, closed end funds, and alternative investments.
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Proven selling and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-starter and self-motivated person who also excels working in a team environment.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • FINRA SIE License - Upon Hire
  • FINRA Series 6 License - Upon Hire
  • FINRA Series 7 License - To be obtained within 180 days
  • FINRA Series 63 License - Upon Hire (If required by Resident State)
  • Resident Life & Health insurance licenses - Upon Hire
  • Sales or Customer Service experience within the Financial Services Industry and product knowledge
  • Experience with Salesforce and/or other CRM platforms is a benefit.
