About The Position
The Internal Shipping 2 role at ThermTech is a full-time position focused on maintaining an efficient flow through the shipping and receiving areas of the plant. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to learn the trade while contributing to a team-oriented environment. This position requires a commitment to problem-solving and maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced work setting. The role involves following specific schedules and instructions to ensure that all shipping and receiving tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner. The responsibilities include proper weighing and documenting of each order as it is received, tagging all incoming orders in real-time, and maintaining hold areas by contacting customers to collect any missing information. The candidate will also be responsible for coordinating transfers, loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring the organization and cleanliness of the plant. Familiarity with various procedures related to shipping and receiving is essential, as is the ability to fill out Bills of Lading and create packing slips for shipments. Candidates should be prepared to work full-time hours, primarily on the first shift, with a start time of 5:00 AM on Mondays and 6:00 AM from Tuesday to Friday, with flexibility for an earlier start if needed.
