About The Position

Tom Wood Lexus located in Indianapolis, IN is currently searching for a Used Car Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with deep automotive knowledge, an understanding of luxury clientele, and the ability to drive exceptional customer experiences while maximizing profitability.

Requirements

• Proven experience in automotive sales, with a focus on used cars
• Strong CRM, organizational, and communication skills are required
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts, demonstrating exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to successfully manage diverse teams within the store, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Track all Used cars as they go through reconditioning: Use Rapid Recon software to track all vehicles and ensure they get through the shop to frontline within 5 business days. Ensure notes are input in system with updated timelines/ time frames of repair eta
• Write Repair Orders and monitor recon costs
• Close Repair Order tickets on used cars
• Quality Control Checks: Check all vehicles as they are finishing the process for QC checks to ensure they are front row ready to sell
• Pictures of Inventory/ post: Take a minimum of 35 pictures on all used vehicles along with a co video and upload to V Auto, initial and full set pictures required
• Upload Auto I packet information and inspection forms for all used cars
• Appraisals: Appraise vehicles and work with the sales team / used car manager for Acquisition opportunities
• Descriptions: Upload unique descriptions to used inventory to enhance SEO opportunities
• Communicate: Communicate with all sales team members to ensure cohesiveness
• Responsible for dropping/ picking up used cars at off-site locations
• Effectively communicate with used car team: including used car technician, used car manager and team leads
• Pricing: Adjust pricing as needed and initial pricing in V Auto based on market supply/ demand
• Lot: Assist on the lot as needed, moving vehicles, assisting the sales team
