About The Position
The Extended School Year (ESY) Program is designed for special education students meeting specific criteria to be referred to this program on their IEP. Teachers will provide instruction specific to each student, based upon goals identified on the student's IEP. Paraprofessionals will work with the ESY teacher to implement and facilitate the IEP goals for this program. The ESY Program for staff runs from Friday, May 30, 2025, to Wednesday, June 18, 2025. Staff hours are 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, Monday through Friday. Employees are paid on a time sheet at the paraprofessional hourly rate. All positions are based on student enrollment figures. Staff work-day/set-up is Friday, May 30. ESY will be held at Thomas Elementary School.
