The Internal Operations Training Manager (IOTM) is an integral part of the Internal Operations team which handles the Skill Up Training Program for all of Chrysalis' Employment Social Enterprises (ESEs). These ESEs employ a portion of Chrysalis' client participants in temporary, transitional, part-time work during their search for a permanent job. These opportunities provide Chrysalis clients with the experience to gain hard- and soft-skills while earning a paycheck. The Internal Operations team's duties are primarily focused on the onboarding, training, and placing of these transitional employees into positions within the ESEs. The Skill Up Training Program is a new and exciting initiative to develop career skills and help Chrysalis clients increase their marketability as they look for outside job opportunities. The IOTM will be the resident expert in guiding transitional employees through selecting and completing training pathways based on their personal employment goals and interests. The IOTM will support the efforts of the Internal Operations team as well as all of the ESEs by tracking, scheduling, and identifying facilitators for all training sessions for client participants. The IOTM specifically ensures that all processes are being completed efficiently and documented thoroughly for the success of the department's programmatic initiatives and grant requirements. As a member of the Internal Operations management team, the IOTM participates in the development and implementation of effective team procedures and helps foster strong cross-departmental alliances.
