Pieper Veterinary is seeking a Board-Certified or Residency-Trained Small Animal Internist to join our team in Stratford, CT to start Pieper Stratford’s Internal Medicine Department. This is an ideal position for an internist who enjoys complex case work, continuity of care, and building lasting partnerships with clients and referring veterinarians. Currently an out-patient only hospital with orthopedic surgery, oncology, and primary care, our hospital offers a wide range of general and specialty services, supported by a team of experienced veterinarians and dedicated technicians. The Opportunity As our new Internal Medicine Specialist, you will provide outpatient specialty services including: Internal Medicine consults and rechecks Abdominal ultrasound Same-day endoscopy procedures This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading a department, working closely with referring veterinarians and clients, and managing cases through consultation and procedure.
