Requirements

2 years’ experience in a veterinary hospital setting
Full-time with flexible availability.
Able to multi-tasking in a busy environment
Able to provide excellent client service
Passionate about patient care
Team oriented
Dependable attendance is required.
Any allergies to animals must be controllable through medication.
Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
Must be willing to work long or irregular hours under pressure conditions.
This position requires the ability to walk, bend, stand and reach constantly during a minimum 8-10 hour day.

Responsibilities

IV catheter placement and venipuncture
Anesthesia monitoring and recover
Set up and assist with procedures
Appointment management: obtain histories, medical record keeping, invoice and patient discharge, prepare and dispense prescriptions, and educate clients.
