Your Role as an Internal Medicine Registered Veterinary Technician You’ll work closely with our boarded internal medicine doctors to manage complex, chronic, and multisystemic cases. This position is perfect for a detailed oriented and inquisitive technician who finds fulfillment in collaborative case management and patient advocacy.

Requirements

  • Current RVT License and Registration with DORA

Nice To Haves

  • College (AS/BS/BA)
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as an RVT, preferably in a specialty
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Internal Medicine
  • BLS/ALS CPR certifications

Responsibilities

  • Assist with advanced diagnostics such as ultrasound, endoscopy, CT, and aspirates
  • Manage hospitalized patients with long-term or complicated medical needs
  • Monitor subtle changes in patient status and communicate them clearly
  • Educate clients about chronic illness management and follow-up care
