MercyOne has an excellent full-time employment opportunity for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine Physician to join our Clinton Family Practice team. This is a full-time employed physician position at our North Health Plaza in Clinton, Iowa. The role offers competitive compensation, recruitment incentives, and a great work-life balance with an outpatient-only practice and shared outpatient call of 1:3. The MercyOne Clinton North Health Plaza is a multispecialty facility offering primary care, cardiology, nephrology, OB/GYN, ortho, pediatrics, lab, and radiology services. The primary care team consists of 4 physicians, 5 APPs, and experienced clinical/non-clinical staff, expecting a busy practice with instant volume. Clinton, Iowa, is nicely located near big cities like Chicago, Madison, WI, Iowa City, and the Quad Cities, with a cost of living 15% lower than the national average. It's near the Mississippi River, offering access to fishing, beaches, boating, bands, showboat theater, orchestra, and riverside dining, making it a perfect place to raise a family. Requirements

  • MD or DO
  • BE/BC in IM (U.S., U.K. and Canadian Board)
  • Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in Iowa
  • Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physician’s field of practice
  • Eligible to work in the United States (J-1 and H1-B candidates welcome to apply)
