About The Position
As an Internal Medicine Physician at Intermountain Health, you will be an integral part of a nationally recognized health system dedicated to the mission of helping people live the healthiest lives possible. In this role, you will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals who are committed to providing quality care and an excellent patient experience. Your primary focus will be on a mostly geriatric population, utilizing your medical expertise to manage patients with comorbidities and complex health needs. The clinic operates with a patient volume of 15-18 patients per day, allowing you to provide personalized care to each individual. This position offers a competitive starting bonus of $30,000, along with up to $20,000 in relocation assistance and $75,000 in student loan repayment when applicable. Additionally, you will receive a residency stipend of up to $18,000 over two years for physicians completing their training. You will practice at the Cedar City Clinic, with clinic hours from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. You have the flexibility to choose between working four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts, and you will be on call one week every three weeks.
