About The Position

Duke Primary Care is actively recruiting Internal Medicine physicians to the largest - and growing - primary care network in North Carolina's Triangle region. We are a vibrant network within the world-renowned Duke University Health System where our providers work in a collaborative practice, supported by medical assistants and nurses as well as behavioral health, diabetes education, pharmacy, social work, and other specialists to provide comprehensive and personalized patient-centered care. Providers also have access to a unified electronic health record system, an expansive network of specialists for consultation and referral, ancillary services for diagnostic and testing needs, and a robust telehealth platform for virtual visits.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine or eligibility for certification.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a primary care setting.
• Interest in teaching medical students, residents, and advanced practice providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive and personalized patient-centered care in a collaborative practice environment.
• Utilize a unified electronic health record system for patient management.
• Consult and refer patients to specialists within the network as needed.
• Participate in telehealth visits as part of the care model.
