About The Position

Duke Primary Care is actively recruiting dual-boarded Med-Peds physicians to support our growing Internal Medicine and Pediatric practice locations where you will work alongside other Med-Peds trained physicians. We are a vibrant network within the world-renowned Duke University Health System. Our providers work in a collaborative practice, supported by medical assistants and nurses as well as behavioral health, diabetes education, pharmacy, social work, lactation consultants, and other specialists to provide comprehensive and personalized patient-centered care. Providers also have access to a unified electronic health record system, an expansive network of specialists (including specialists at Duke Children's Hospital, ranked #1 for pediatric NIH funding) for consultation and referral, ancillary services for diagnostic and testing needs, and a robust telehealth platform for virtual visits.

Requirements

• Dual-boarded in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.
• Ability to work in a collaborative practice with other healthcare professionals.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in outpatient care.
• Interest in teaching medical students, residents, and APPs.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive and personalized patient-centered care in a collaborative practice environment.
• Manage on-call duties through nurse triage.
• Utilize EPIC EMR for patient records and management.
• Work alongside a dedicated team and staff delivering evidence-based care.
