Hiring an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician for a Behavioral Health Facility in Central California Opportunity Details Join the newest and most advanced behavioral health facility in the San Joaquin Valley Area River Vista Behavioral Health Internal Medicine/Family Medicine Physician Why River Vista? Be an integral part of our brand-new 128-bed behavioral health hospital that opened its doors in October 2023. We offer a full continuum of inpatient services, including specialized units catering to the unique needs of children, adolescents, and adults with co-occurring behavioral health and substance-use issues. We offer robust outpatient programs addressing prevalent behavioral health concerns. Our outpatient programs include child, adolescent, and family therapy, specializing in the treatment of depression, anxiety disorders, and other common behavioral health issues. Position Details: 1099/Independent contractor arrangement for your convenience. Lucrative annual compensation. The patient population will include adults and adolescents with diverse psychiatric and substance-abuse issues. 10-12 admission H&Ps, daily consult care with follow-ups for patients in behavioral health, inpatient and outpatient treatment, and on call hours. Medical management of routine illnesses as well as some specialty issues is in the scope of patient care under the physician. There is a full team of Psychiatrists on staff at the hospital for collaboration. Requirements
- MD/DO degree from an accredited program
- Board Certification/Eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Licensed to practice in California or eligibility to obtain a CA medical license
- Meets all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians
Responsibilities
- 10-12 admission H&Ps
- Daily consult care with follow-ups for patients in behavioral health, inpatient and outpatient treatment
- On call hours
- Medical management of routine illnesses as well as some specialty issues
