About The Position
Guthrie Lourdes is seeking a passionate, detail-oriented Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its Guthrie Binghamton Riverside Drive - Internal Medicine team. As a Guthrie Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, you play an important role in caring for our patients while acting as a patient advocate and collaborating with physicians and advanced practice providers, as well as Guthrie Specialists throughout the strong referral network. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a supportive environment that values both professional and personal growth. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting initial and follow-up patient assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing and implementing treatment plans, prescribing medications and treatments, and providing patient education and counseling. You will also collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care, ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of medical attention. The position is full-time and offers a competitive salary range starting at $114,000 to $132,000, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and disability insurance, malpractice insurance, and a retirement savings plan with employer match. Guthrie is committed to the professional development of its staff, offering $2,500 for continuing medical education (CME) for conference registration, certifications, and membership fees for specialty-specific medical societies.
