About The Position
Guthrie is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its patient-centered Internal Medicine team at the Big Flats Clinic. This position focuses on outpatient care, primarily dealing with adult patients (18 years or older) who present with complex multi-system issues. The role is designed to provide comprehensive care in an environment that emphasizes quality and patient-centered practices. The majority of clinical responsibilities will be conducted in the ambulatory clinic, but there are also opportunities for inpatient services, surgical pre-op clinics, and nursing home coverage. The Guthrie Clinic is committed to ensuring that individuals in small towns have access to high-quality medical care, similar to that available in larger cities. As a non-profit and physician-led organization, Guthrie operates an integrated healthcare delivery system that serves patients across the Twin Tiers of New York and Pennsylvania. The standard working hours for this position are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., allowing for a healthy work-life balance.
