About The Position
Stamford Health Medical Group (SHMG), a multispecialty physician group in partnership with Stamford Hospital, is currently seeking an enthusiastic, BE/BC Internist to join a well-established practice of five (5) internists in our practice at 292 Long Ridge Road. The new physician will take over an already established practice, with the ability to expand. The practice is out-patient only, and the physicians use the Hospitals at Stamford Hospital. Telephone call is shared by group, 1:5. Stamford Hospital is an independent, community teaching hospital with four (4) free-standing residency programs, and it is a primary teaching affiliate of Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. Located on the Connecticut shoreline in Fairfield County, Stamford has a feel of beautiful New England, with access to NYC only 50 minutes away via car or commuter rail. We offer a competitive base salary with wRVU incentives. Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited medical school
- Board eligibility or certification in Internal Medicine
- Valid CT medical license (or ability to obtain one)
