What you'll be doing day to day As an Internal Inventory Hauler, responsible for ensuring the availability of inventory for the Distribution / Customer Fulfillment Center, you will: Safely operate the yard truck to and from loading docks, connect and disconnect airlines, and stabilize loading units. Maintain radio and/or system contact with Flow & Traffic co-workers to receive or confirm loading unit movements. Adhere to supply chain security protocols in accordance with local and country regulatory requirements. Properly detect, correct, and report any loading unit damages. Perform yard inventory and safety audits. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Contribute to an environment where IKEA culture is strong and embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers. Requirements

  • Ability to operate a yard truck with a high comfort level of backing and reverse.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to lift, sit, stand, and walk for length of shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Internal Hauler or Class A CDL experience preferred.
