About The Position

If so, joining CGI as an Internal Control Analyst could be the ideal opportunity for you. As an Internal Control Analyst specializing, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and compliance of our federal client's operations. You will work closely with various stakeholders to analyze, design, and implement effective internal control processes and tools. Your expertise will help identify risks, recommend improvements, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. This position is located in our Fairfax, VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Requirements

  • Business analysis experience with a proven background in internal controls and tools
  • Experience working directly with clients and ability to lead meetings

Responsibilities

  • Provide internal control domain expertise.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of current internal control processes and tools and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement effective internal control frameworks.
  • Develop and document policies and procedures to support internal control objectives.
  • Perform risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and make necessary adjustments.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations.
  • Provide training and support to staff on internal control processes and best practices.
  • Participate in and lead client stakeholder meetings.
  • Provide analysis of internal control issues.
