ZemiTek, LLC is seeking an Internal Control and Risk Management Specialist to support the Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (BHA) within the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). The BHA is responsible for coordinating U.S. Government international humanitarian assistance to save lives and alleviate human suffering during disasters. The ICRM Specialist will work within the Audit, Risk, and Performance Management (ARPM) Division, focusing on strengthening internal controls and implementing the Agency's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework. This role involves analyzing the effectiveness of internal controls, creating new controls, and ensuring compliance with federal regulations such as the Federal Managers Financial Integrity Act (FMFIA). The ICRM Specialist will also assess and manage enterprise-level risks, develop risk profiles, and support BHA's risk management processes. The position requires a strong understanding of federal regulations and policies, as well as the ability to research and analyze existing policies to develop new internal control measures. The ICRM Specialist will maintain tracking systems for compliance issues, coordinate reporting on internal control projects, and provide administrative support for risk assessments. Additionally, the role involves engaging with stakeholders, providing logistical support for meetings, and promoting awareness of internal controls and risk management processes within the bureau. This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Washington, D.C., requiring the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. The starting salary range is between $82,000 and $102,000, depending on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
