As an Internal Communications Specialist at Ascension, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing internal communications that enhance the organization's culture, associate experience, and operational priorities. This position is integral to supporting Ascension's HR organization and strategies, ensuring that all communications align with the Mission, Vision, and Values of Ascension as a healing ministry of the Catholic Church. You will be responsible for creating strategic and measurable internal communications plans that focus on associate engagement and provide counsel and support to HR leaders. Your role will involve combining strategic thinking with attention to detail to develop compelling internal communications content, campaigns, and events that support operational objectives and reinforce the internal brand. You will proactively identify trends, risks, challenges, and solutions to enhance process adoption and lead change communication efforts. The complexity of this work requires excellent writing and project management skills, critical thinking, strategic counseling, and decisive judgment. Ideally, you will have a solid understanding of the evolving healthcare market, Ascension's history, current initiatives, and established communications practices and standards. This position demands the ability to thrive in a high-performance, fast-paced, remote-first environment.
