About The Position

Humana's Corporate Communications organization is seeking an Internal Communications Lead who will support IT to join the Internal Communications Team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to step into the position of senior counselor on engagements with high-profile partners executing business-driving decisions. You will work closely with business partners and teammates at all levels of the IT and Communications teams to prepare for and manage through IT-wide business initiatives and messaging. In addition to providing strategic counsel, you will play a hands-on role in building and executing the team's annual communications plan. Throughout the year, you will be responsible for directing a broad range of communication activities across a variety of channels to maximize messaging opportunities and effectiveness. This role requires someone invigorated by challenges, complex subject matter and critical thinking. You will need to excel at managing relationships, adapt easily to changing circumstances and challenges and have a growth mindset. This is a remote role, open to qualified candidates based anywhere in the U.S. However, you will be required to work Eastern Standard Time business hours. Key responsibilities include leading communications strategy for various initiatives within Humana IT, advising teams and leaders on best practices, developing change communication strategies, establishing discipline around measurement and reporting outcomes, executing digital content strategy, producing executive-level communications, and translating IT strategy into effective messaging that aligns with broader Humana goals. You will also serve as an IT communications subject matter expert and consultative resource for the broader Corporate Communications Team, demonstrating exceptional writing, presentation, and project management skills with keen attention to detail across all tasks and deliverables.
